Maidenhair Fern
Adiantum spp. · Pteridaceae
How it looks
Maidenhair Fern is a fern with very fine, black leaf stalks bearing small fan-shaped or semicircular light green leaflets arranged like feathers. The leaflets are thin and soft, fluttering in the breeze, and it grows 8–20 in (20–50 cm) tall.
Maidenhair Fern (Maidenhair Fern) has no known toxicity to cats. It's a safe fern known for its delicate foliage.
Guide for parents
A safe fern, but the fronds are so delicate that frequent batting will wreck the plant. It loves humidity, so it often ends up in the bathroom — make sure bathroom chemicals aren't part of the exposure. It's sensitive to direct sun and prefers bright shade with good airflow. The key is frequent, small waterings so the soil never dries out.
